Hanover Township is a township within Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Located in the Lehigh Valley part of the state, its neighboring municipalities are East Allen Township on the north, Lower Nazareth Township on the northeast, Bethlehem Township on the east, Bethlehem on the southeast and southwest, and Hanover Township of Lehigh County on the west. As of the 2010 census, the township has a population of 10,866 people and a total area of 6.7 square miles.
Lehigh Valley International Airport is a public domestic airport just west of Hanover Township, in the Hanover Township of Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. As the fourth busiest airport in Pennsylvania, it has been categorized as a non-hub primary commercial service facility by the Federal Aviation Administration National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2019-2023. The airport was established and opened in 1929 and is one of the only airports in the U.S. that still serves its community from its original location. It encompasses 2,278 acres of land and includes two asphalt runways, nine gates to service passengers, and six holding sports for cargo aircraft. The airport is owned and operated by the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority.

It offers classes from grades Kindergarten through 5th. Based on state test scores, 72% of its students are proficient in reading and 62% are in math.
