  • Also referred to as the Haines House and Hans Millan House, spans 2.5 acres and dates back to 1777 when it was used as a field hospital during the Battle of Germantown. The historic house is now a museum and garden open to the public. The property was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971 and later designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1971.

Cliveden of the National Trust

  • The Cliveden, also referred to as the Chew House, was built from 1763-1767 designed by William Peters in the Georgian Colonial architectural style. The historic site was the country home of the successful lawyer Benjamin Chew and is now open to the public as a community park and consists of the Carriage House, Main House, Wash House, and Kitchen Dependency.
