The 300-acre property includes a manor and carriage house, centuries-old sugar maples, stately Penn Oaks, open pastures, and a lower pond. Originally part of William Penn Manor, the Springton Manor has been used for agricultural purposes since the early 1700s.

Visitors to the Springton Manor Farm can learn about the farming history of the county and meet many farm animals like:

  • Sheep
  • Horses
  • Goats
  • Pigs
  • Rabbits
  • Donkeys
  • Calves
  • Chicken
  • Peacocks

While touring the barn complex, you can also see the Great Barn, goat shed, sheep shed, equipment shed, and a roost. The Great Barn is home to the Family Farm Museum, where seasonal tools and apparatus used on farms in the 1700s to 1900s are on display. Unfortunately, the only building not open to the public is the Manor House.
