Over the next few decades, tons of renovations, additional floors, and space were added to the building until 1954 where they took the plunge and purchased another chunk of land, which is where the firehouse stands today.

In 2003, the fire station celebrated its 10th anniversary in their new building and the partnership with Lia's catering.
In the early 2000s, the fire station wanted to give back to the community by offering a catering kitchen and banquet hall. They contracted Lia's Catering as a way to generate income for both giving back and for the fire station to continue improving their services given to the community.
