East Norriton Township is a census-designated place (CDP) and township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Located near the Norristown county seat, it is in close proximity to the areas of West Norriton, Fairview Village, Whitepain Woods, Whitpain Manor and Center Square. The main roads that operate in the township are Swede Road, Dekalb Street, U.S. Route 202, Old Arch Road, New Hope Street, Germantown Pike, Township Line Road, North Wales Road, and Whitehall Road. As of the 2010 U.S. Census, East Norriton Township has a population of 13,590 people and a total area of 6.1 square miles.
Barley Sheaf Inn is a two-and-a-half-story, plastered stone building constructed before 1784. Between 1784 and 1787, it was home to the first Montgomery County courthouse. From 1787 to 1861, it was an inn and tavern until it was converted into a private residence. In 1980, it housed a number of professional offices. On December 10, 1980, the historic inn and tavern was added to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). It also includes a contributing barn and wagon shed. The inn can be found on West Germantown Pike in East Norriton Township.
Old Norriton Presbyterian Church is a church built in 1698 in East Norriton Township. It is a one-story, three-by-two-bay, brownstone structure with a wooden shake gable rood, round-arch windows and barrel vault ceiling. The historic Presbyterian church was listed on the NRHP on April 3, 1979.
Norristown Farm Park is a recreational park maintained and operated by Montgomery County but owned by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Located partly in East Norriton Township, residents enjoy coming to the park for:

The park is open every day from 6 a.m. to sunset.
