Millbourne is a borough within Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Situated along Cobbs Creek, it is the most densely populated incorporated municipality in the state and the 22nd in the U.S., with 16,557 people living per square mile. As of the 2019 census estimate, it has a population of 1,160 people and a total area of 0.1 square miles.

Millbourne Station

Millbourne Station is one of the two ground-level stops on the Market–Frankford Line and one of the two SEPTA ra[id transit stations outside of Philadelphia. The rapid transit station was one of the original Market Street Elevated stations that were built by the Philadelphia Rapid Transit Company. Opened on March 4, 1907, it is situated between the 15th Street and 69th Street T.C. stations. In 2007, the station was closed for rehabilitation. The renovation includes new lighting, elevators, ADA-accessible concrete platforms, and a brick station house. On June 16, 2008, the station was reopened. It can be found on Wister Drive and Millbourne Avenue in the borough of Millbourne.

Cardington Recreation Area

Cardington Recreation Area is a neighborhood park south of the Millbourne Borough. Bounded by Sansom Street to the north, Chatham Road to the east, Walnut Street to the south and Heather Road to the west, it is owned and managed by the Upper Darby Township Parks and Recreation Department. The park provides a space for residents in the area to enjoy recreational activities like baseball, football and soccer. It also includes a playground for younger children. The park is open Sundays through Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. On Saturdays and Wednesdays, it is open from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
