This small corner bar has a welcoming ambiance and incredible food, along with a large selection of craft beer and cocktails. There is basically something for everyone here, including a good selection of meatless dishes. Happy hour highlights include 1/2 price on 2 draft beers, 1/2 price bar snacks, and the Olde Richmond Punch cocktail for $5. And they even half a midday happy hour on Saturdays.
Located where Kensington and Port Richmond meet, Gaul and Co. Malt House offers a great selection of craft beers, domestics, cocktails, and flavorful bar food. Many of the items on their menu are Polish-inspired, which reflects the large Polish population of the neighborhood. They're famous for their "Wit or Witowski" - a cheesesteak made with chipped kielbasa. Stop in here for a discounted craft beer at happy hour and enjoy it alongside one of their many delectable food items.

This seafood-themed gastropub lets you pair your choice of craft beer, wine, or cocktail with your choice of delicious dishes. Along with tasty and fresh seafood, they offer sandwiches, a "land food" section of the menu, soups, salads, and more.

Memphis Taproom was one of the first gastropubs in Kensington, and we think it's still one of the best. We especially love coming here during the warm months and drinking in the backyard area, but it's a great spot in the winter with its cozy atmosphere. Happy hours are always fun here and we also love visiting for brunch.

Gastropubs are great and all, but sometimes you just want a good dive bar. Atlantis, The Lost Bar scratches that itch for us in Kensington. The drinks are always cheap here, but you can get especially good deals during happy hour. You can't get a full meal here, but they do often have free soft pretzels sitting out if you want something to snack on.
